Could I make One Pan Egg and Turkey Skillet using ground beef?

You could definitely make this recipe, using ground beef. However, ground beef often has a little more fat to it, so we recommend rinsing and draining the beef a few times. I even rinse and drain my ground turkey.

  5. KathyR says:

This was DELISH. We made for dinner tonight. I have a picky 5 yo dtr who eyeballs and vetoes most food groups, but does eat most things Mexican I seasoned the meat with onion powder, garlic powder, sun dried tomato bits, and lawrys chicken (and turkey) seasoning while I browned the meat and added a can of diced tomatoes (juice drained off) reduced the salsa ( for the picky eater) and added shredded cheese the last 2 1/2 minutes. We served dinner with corn tortillas, sour cream, avocados sliced and limes... Can't thank you enough .. A healthy dinner and something we will definitely make again...

  6. KathyR says:

Almost forgot cut up oranges to go on the side :)

  7. Cyd says:

Yay!! It's so nice when you can get those picky eaters to eat!! Thanks so much for stopping by our blog.

  8. Jan St John says:

I used a tomatotillo? salsa-sauce, and it was very tasty. Not very hot-spicy. Had it for dinner and cooked peas to go with it, was great. Will be doing it again, with variations.

  9. naomik says:

Made this last night for supper and it was a hit! I added some peppers and onions before cooking the turkey and added a little shredded cheese on top at the end. It was delicious! We usually do a weekly "breakfast for supper" day at our house and this recipe is definitely going to make the menu again! Thanks!

  10. Chelsea says:

    Can this be reheated?

  11. Cyd says:

We reheat any leftovers in the microwave the next day.

  12. Megan says:

Did you add the pepper and onion along with the salsa?

  13. Lauren Ann Boucher says:

I made this as a dinner meal. I would add another cup of salsa and serve it over rice to give it more dinnertime substance. The flavor is good, and really, it couldn't be any easier. Service with a salad and pickled beets. Simple and inexpensive

  14. Mary says:

We served it with tortilla chips..... 2 of my 3 kids are super picky, but will eat most things if I serve tortilla chips with it!

  15. David says:

My turn to make dinner. Found this recipe and gave it a shot. My wife loved it, and had me save it to make again! Thanks for making me look like a hero!

  16. VeeKay says:

Super basic but the template is lovely!

  17. Tapple says:

I used Mango Habanero Sausage and pineapple salsa. Topped with mexican cheese blend.
